DESCRIPTION

The Power Sensor is designed for conversion of the built-in detector output voltage into digital signal proportional to the input power.

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION

The Power Meter consists of the diode power sensor and the Indicator Unit or a personal computer with a virtual panel.

Using a diode Power Sensor instead of a conventional thermal converter provides inertia less power conversion system, which allows to integrate the instrument into automated systems.

Possibility of reliable low level power measurement allows to design microwave frequency paths with low level operating signals levels thanks to using low-barrier diodes.

Power Sensor is based on 0.01 to 26.5 GHz frequency range coaxial detector set and

18 GHz to 178 GHz waveguide detector set.
