DESCRIPTION

The V9-14 Voltage Converter Set is intended for very precise measurement of ac voltage rms values. It comprises the Unit of Thermoelectric Conversion of ac voltage and current to dc voltage, the Unit of Auxiliary Resistors and the Indicator Unit.

The Thermoelectric Conversion Unit is built on the base of multielement differential film thermal converter that provides a dc voltage signal independent of frequency and shape and is proportional to rms value of ac voltage.

The Auxiliary Resistors Units are connected to the electrothermal current converter input at high level signal voltage (³ 50 V) and allow signal current value decrease.

The Digital Indicator Unit receives and processes output voltage of connected Thermoelectric Conversion Unit and displays measurement results. Besides this unit contains a two-polarity dc voltage multivalue measure, which is used for thermoelectric conversion units, calibration and a computing device, which makes necessary measurement results corrections. The V9-14 Voltage Converters Set is supplied in three options:

– for low (0.5–30 V) and high (50–1000 V) level ac voltage measurements (Option No 1);

– for low (0.5–30 V) level ac voltage measurements (No 2);

– for high (50–100 V) level ac voltage to dc voltage conversion (No 3).
